  • Business Buy/Sell Transaction: A machine shop business owner wanting to retire offered a longtime employee the opportunity to purchase the business. Requesting our Law Office's review, the initial contract to purchase did not provide fair upfront payment for said business. Negotiations led to payment in full at time of owner's retirement as opposed to low percentage of multiple payments of the purchase price over time.
  • Business/Employer Representation: Immediately following his resignation, a former employee reached out to current clients of his former employer, a financial transaction processing company, to solicit them to switch to being his own clients.  We served the former employee with a cease and desist letter client company letter.  Attorney representing former employee informed him that there was no defense for him. This sent a message to the former employee to cease these activities and pay a significant amount to settle the matter.
  • ADA Violation Defense: A restaurant sued by alleged customer claiming multiple violations of the American Disabilities Act. After hiring ADA remediation expert, readily achievable changes were made and plaintiffs accepted a far less original requested settlement.
