About
Attorney Nick QuinceyAfter years of practice, I feel incredibly privileged to represent a variety of clients in protecting their rights against insurance company abuse. Founding Quincey Law has given me the opportunity to advocate for individuals who have been mistreated by powerful corporations.
As a prosecutor in Los Angeles, I worked on a trial team handling cases that ranged from attempted murder and robbery to domestic and elder abuse, cocaine trafficking, and white-collar crimes. During law school, I also had the unique opportunity to work on cold murder cases, including People v. Knight (featured on Dateline) and People v. Durst (subject of the HBO docuseries The Jinx and The Jinx Part 2). These experiences sharpened my skills as a trial attorney and litigator, which now fuel my work in insurance bad faith litigation. On a more personal level, I’ve had close family and friends face serious medical conditions, and witnessing the impact of insurance company misconduct during these difficult times deeply influenced my career path. These experiences led me to transition to a practice focused on insurance bad faith litigation across California. I’ve had the privilege of successfully representing clients from all walks of life against billion-dollar insurance companies like Anthem, Blue Shield, and New York Life. In addition, I’ve represented clients in select personal injury cases, including catastrophic injuries, mental health matters, and child sexual abuse cases.
